Team-Based Simulation Training for European Operator

Aberdeen Drilling School was delighted to host delegates from a European Operator in September, 2018, for our client-specific “Team-Based Simulation” course in Aberdeen. The 2-day course was designed to be as immersive and engaging as possible. Our full-size rig-floor DS-5000 simulator was put through its paces on this course and participants encountered a series of well-specific scenarios including: stripping, losses leading to kicks while drilling, ballooning during drilling, hole cleaning issues, stuck pipe problems, and overall team building exercises.

We received excellent feedback for this course!

“Highly recommended course for effectively drilling a well on simulator and for team building purposes. Numerous procedural improvements identified during the simulator exercises” - VP of Operations
