This 2-day client-specific and highly adaptable “Cyber Chair Familiarisation” course will immerse the participants in the cyber simulation environment using our ADS3-Drill or ADS4-Drill full-size simulator suites. The course aims to provide a basic introduction to cyber chair technology available in today’s drilling operations.
This course is designed for individuals seeking to familiarise themselves with cyber chair technology. Ideally suited to early-career engineering graduates and rig crew members recently or soon-to-be promoted into a role with responsibility to operate a cyber chair.
Relevant pre-requisites, candidate suitability, and the optimum level of prior experience for this training will be discussed and agreed with the client in the early stages of course development.
This course is delivered over 2 days and key focus areas are selected by the client company. Learning is facilitated through short lectures, group discussions, case studies, and interactive simulator sessions with feedback sessions. As this course involves immersive simulation it can only be delivered in one of our primary training centres with access to our immersive simulator technology.
Successful completion of the course will result in an Aberdeen Drilling School certificate which is valid for life.
