This eLearning module provides learners with a fundamental understanding of the process, procedures and equipment associated with MPD Operations with surface BOP stacks.
This course has been designed for operator personnel, wellsite supervisors, drilling engineers, HSE professionals, drill crew and third party service providers.
There are no formal prerequisites for this type of training; however, learners must have a thorough understanding of conventional drilling, a working knowledge of drilling well control, awareness of the equipment used in rotary rig operations, and an understanding of the principles of well control barriers.

Successful completion of the course and final assessment will result in an Aberdeen Drilling School certificate valid for 4 years.
